Dying Howl

The wolf so majestic and free
the cub so small and full of glee
the moon whom is scolded for no reason
the hills which are burrowed during winter season
The deer so tall and proud
the stalkers try not to make a sound
the reflection of the moon on the undisturbed lake
upon which no animal dare make waves wake
The fading of the proud loud howl
of which once filled the lands
to which the critters once bowed down
to the small five wolf bands
And now I say we take a stand`
for the wolves which once ruled these lands.
